The Roseleaf is well known for its mad hatter’s tea parties and pot-tails, we’ll be reviewing the food later in this post, but for now, let’s keep it liquid.
For some of Edinburgh’s speakeasies, see our guide to the best hidden bars
A pot-tail combines the refreshing qualities of a cocktail with the fun factor of a tea-pot. On our visit, we opted for The Breakfast Club, not only a classic film with inspirational fist pump but also a very classy cocktail.
One teapot is suggested per couple, you get roughly four cups from one pot, which seemed reasonable for the £10 price tag.
The Roseleaf has bags of character and some great art on display, the staff were all very friendly and even the bill was pleasant.
There were quite a few other pot-tails on the menu that we wanted to try, no doubt we’ll be visiting again soon.
