There's an abundance of fantastic restaurants to recommend in Leith, one of our favourites has to be the original Chop House on Commercial Street.
It's all about the meat at Chop House, and once you've tried the steaks on offer you'll understand why so many people rave about this restaurant.
The beef is sourced from Shaw Fine Meats and Aberdeenshire Highland Beef, and dry aged on site for up to 90 days, which produces a more flavoursome and tender steak.
Although many restaurants serve dry-aged beef, the Chop House was amongst the first to carry out the process in-house. This has allowed the staff to extend the ageing process if required to maximise flavour.

Not hungry? The Chop House is a great place for a couple of drinks at the bar.
